1.Defence Minister Rajnath Singh hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts of SCO member countries in New Delhi.


2.The Reserve Bank has imposed a total penalty of Rs 44 lakh on four co-operative banks, including Rs 16 lakh on Chennai-based The Tamil Nadu State Apex Co-operative Bank, for violation of various norms.


3.Neobank Jupiter received NBFC license from Reserve Bank of India.


4.NS Sumedha has left Port Sudan city for Jeddah in Saudi Arabia with 278 people on board to bring Indians safely out of Sudan.INS Teg has also joined the Kaveri operation. INS Teg has reached Port Sudan with necessary relief material for the officers and stranded Indians in Sudan.


5.Dr. VK Paul, Member, NITI Aayog released the Indian National Accounts Estimates for 2019-20. According to which the share of government's health expenditure in the country's total gross domestic product increased from one point one-three per cent in 2014-15 to one point three-five in 2019-20. The share of government health expenditure in total health expenditure also increased from 29 per cent in 2014-15 to 41.4 per cent in 2019-20.


6.Shelly Oberoi of the Aam Aadmi Party has been elected as the Mayor of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi for the second consecutive term. Aale Mohammad Iqbal will be the Deputy Mayor.


7.Arun Nanda, Chairman, Mahindra Holidays & Resorts announced his retirement.


8.Microsoft India President Ananth Maheshwari has been appointed as the President of NASSCOM for the period 2023-24.


9.Uttarakhand's Transport and Social Welfare Minister Chandan Ram Das passed away due to a heart attack.


10.Senior leader of Shiromani Akali Dal, Parkash Singh Badal, who was the Chief Minister of Punjab for 5 times, has passed away at the age of 95.
