1. President Smt Droupadi Murmu arrived at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport in Nagpur yesterday evening for a three-day visit to the Vidarbha region.
2. The implementation of the Uniform Civil Code ( UCC) will bind India, its nationalism more effectively said Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar while attending the 25th convocation of Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati (IITG).
3. PM Modi chairs meeting of Union Council of Ministers; discuss visionary 2047, developmental works, infrastructure development. The meeting took place at the newly built convention centre at Pragati Maidan in national capital.

8. DAY-NRLM launches Mobile App to Market products made by women of Self-help Groups. (The DAY-NRLM is essentially a poverty relief programme of the Central government. 9. In Jammu and Kashmir, the construction of 1.08 km long, 2-lane viaduct has been completed in Ramban district. Built at a cost of Rs 140 Crore, Udhampur-Ramban on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44).
10. BJP on Tuesday, appointed new party chief in four states. BJP President J P Nadda cleared these appointments as follows.
(i) Union Minister G Kishan Reddy : Telangana BJP
(ii) D Purandeshwari : Andhra Pradesh.
(iii)Babulal Marandi : Jharkhand
(iv) Sunil Jakhar : Punjab.
11. Sharad Pawar-led NCP issues whip to all MLAs to attend meeting in Mumbai; Ajit group also issues notice for its meet.
12. Amid the political crisis in Maharashtra, Assembly Speaker Rahul Narwekar on Tuesday said he must first determine if the NCP is in power or Opposition in the House. "I cannot divide the NCP into two factions as there is no official split," Narwekar said.

16. 520 additional medical seats would be made available to Telangana students from this academic year. The state government’s decision to scrap 15 % "unreserved" category for which students from Andhra and Rayalaseema had been allowed.
17. The issue of providing additional reservations for transgender persons in education and public employment has come under scrutiny in the Bombay High Court. The Maharashtra government has responded that it would be challenging to implement additional reservations.
